Terms of Use

Last updated: July 9, 2026

By using themultifamilypanel.com (“the Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Trademark and affiliation notice

Our marks. The Multifamily Panel™ and The Panel™, including related logos, wordmarks, and trade dress used on this Site, are trademarks of Burkett Investments, LLC (or its successors and assigns). Unauthorized use is prohibited. Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office may be pending or forthcoming; until registration issues, we claim common-law rights arising from use in commerce.

The Multifamily Panel™ is not Shark Tank.

Shark Tank is a registered trademark of Sony Pictures Television Inc. and is associated with ABC and related entities. The Multifamily Panel™ (also The Panel™) is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or connected to Shark Tank, ABC, Sony Pictures Television, MGM, or any related entities.

We may use the phrase “Shark Tank-style” or similar wording only as informal, descriptive shorthand to explain the general format of our sessions: executives evaluate presentations in a structured, produced setting. That phrase does not imply any partnership, licensing, or association with the Shark Tank television program or its producers.

All third-party names, trademarks, and conference names referenced on this Site belong to their respective owners. Reference to any conference or organization does not imply endorsement of The Multifamily Panel™ by that organization.

What The Multifamily Panel is

The Multifamily Panel™ (also referred to as The Panel™) is operated by Burkett Investments, LLC. We convene curated, in-person sessions among multifamily real estate professionals at industry conferences. We connect vetted executives with companies selected to present products or solutions. What we are not

Applications and participation

Submitting an application does not guarantee participation. We review all submissions and extend invitations at our sole discretion. Panel composition, timing, format, and conference placement are determined by The Multifamily Panel™. We may decline any application without explanation.

By submitting an application, you represent that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the authority to submit it on behalf of yourself or your organization.

Headshots and materials

If you are accepted as a panelist, we may request a professional headshot separately. By providing a headshot, you grant The Multifamily Panel™ a limited license to use that image for session materials, rosters, and related event communications. We will not sell or license your image to unrelated third parties.

Confidentiality

Sessions are intended to be candid and professional. Participants should respect the confidentiality of discussion in the room unless otherwise agreed in writing. Written feedback provided after sessions is intended for the presenting company’s internal use unless otherwise agreed.

No professional advice

Information shared in panels, on the Site, or in written feedback is general professional perspective. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Consult your own advisors before making decisions that affect your business.

Website use

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to disrupt the Site, scrape it for unauthorized purposes, or submit false or misleading information through our forms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Multifamily Panel™, Burkett Investments, LLC, and their operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in any session.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
